Just the FAQs
Q: How do I participate in the OneGalleryPlace.com challenge?
A: It's as easy as registering for an account on the
OneGalleryPlace.com website, following the Mission Statement for each
part you wish to enter, and submitting your images by the deadlines
provided.
Q: Do you charge entry fees?
A: No. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever. We're blessed to have your participation, and we will always treat it as such.
Q: Can I use images from the internet?
A: Absolutely.
We are creating an entire body of work that is a work of art in itself,
with each component and every contribution becoming an integral part of
the overall vision and fundamental scope in it's entirety. Every
submitted work of art, within reason, will find a place in one of our
three main galleries. However, rather than directly copying an image and applying a few Photoshop filters,
take a moment to be inspired about your subject - learn, harness your passion and create an entirely new collaboration that is a
dimension apart from the original. It is important to remember that you
must strive to create work that is transformational in nature, and to do that you
have to attach your own uniquely developed emotion to it's underlying substance.
Q: Why do we only have 3-4 weeks to create images for each part?
A: Current events move fast, and time
does not stand still. For maximum marketing and promotion, each part of the Made.On.Earth Series
will produce twelve exclusive works of art on a timed basis, culminating in a season-ending finale that will be
unveiled when the vision is complete. Artists are welcome to participate in one,
several, or the entire 12-part Series, and can enter as often as they
wish.
Q: Does everyone who submits artwork to the challenge find placement in one of the OneGalleryPlace.com galleries?
A: Yes.
You have taken the time and energy to put forth your efforts in being a
part of OneGalleryPlace.com, and therefore all works submitted will
have a place in one of our galleries. We can't guarantee you which
Gallery you will be included in, however, we can tell you your work
will be on display in one of them.
Q: What are the three Galleries, how many winners are in each per part, and what do we get for being selected to each?
A: Masterpeace Theatre: Varies.
The works of art that are selected for inclusion in the Masterpeace Theatre main gallery will become part of a collaborative
effort between the artist who created the image and the
OneGalleryPlace.com creative team. This will include art, music,
entertainment, video, sound, and motion graphics. You may review a
sample of one of these works, entitled "The Portal", now showing in the
Masterpeace Theatre Gallery. Masterpeace Theatre Grand Illusionist
Award Winners will have their transformative audiovisual work unveiled
in this theatre-like online atmosphere, complete with music, video, and
imagery produced specifically for their work, and will further receive
a 50% commission on the profits on the purchase price as determined on
a piece-by-piece basis. The number of winning entries each month will match the current part of the series, i.e. for Part I there will be one Masterpeace Theatre winner, for Part II there will be two, for Part III there will be three, and so on...
VIP Showcase Gallery. Twelve Winners.
The artists whose works are selected for the VIP Showcase Gallery
become part of an exclusive collection of images that will be available
as Limited Edition Fine Art Reproductions. The Top 12 images chosen
will be placed in the VIP Showcase Gallery for a purchase price of $199
with a limited edition run of 100 prints. In addition, artists selected
for inclusion in the VIP Showcase Gallery will receive a commission in
the amount of $100 for every print of their work that is purchased in the VIP Showcase Gallery,
garnering the possibilities of earning up to $10,000 in commissions per work.
Vision Vault. Artists
whose works were not selected to either the Masterpeace Theatre or the
VIP Showcase Gallery will have their images placed for display in the
Vision Vault, and will be positioned there for future collaboration and
release. Vision Vault artists will receive 50% of the
profits generated from the sale of each work they have showcased in this gallery. This gallery will be opened later in the series.
Q:
We see that the Masterpeace Theatre winner will have audiovisual
elements added to their work, will this be the case with the VIP
Showase Gallery winners?
A: No.
In order to effectively create a revenue stream for the VIP Showcase
Gallery winners, we will only offer their respective images as Limited Edition Fine Art
Reproduction prints.
Q: What's the criteria for winning the Masterpeace Theatre Grand Illusionist Award?
A: There
are no criteria. The best image for the Award will be chosen, whether
you have 3 months experience or 30 years. Some of the best creative
talent in the world can be sparked to the top with the right amount of
imagination, effort, and passion. No restrictions means the works open
up to the widest amounts of vision and inspiration, and we have seen it
come from all stages of development.
Q: How do you decide on what artwork ultimately is granted the Masterpeace Theatre Grand Illusionist Award?
A: It
will be a combination of multiple factors. If we see an image that has
elements and/or visuals that can be effectively utilized for the
introduction of the additional multidimensional components, we will
take a deeper look into the image and it's possibilities for inclusion.
Upon selecting these works, we will contact each artist for their
approval on the collaborative portion of the work. There is no real
measure of a work's ability to be considered for this gallery, only
that the image speaks from within.
Q:
Should we create our images with virtual 'portals' so we may have a
better chance at winning the Masterpeace Theatre Grand Illusionist
Award?
A: That is your choice. Images
that are developed with winning the Masterpeace Theatre Grand
Illusionist award will have a better chance of gaining inclusion into
this gallery, such as the inclusion of windows, doors, or other
openings in the artwork that can be utilized for the audiovisual
elements, however, artists will have as strong an opportunity at making
the VIP Showcase Gallery and earning commissions by how much they
follow the Mission Statement. Keep this in mind as you proceed as it
will better your chances overall at making one of the top two galleries
and putting yourself in position to earn much higher commission rates.
Q: Can I submit images that have already been produced?
A: Yes. As
long as you can provide exclusive rights to OneGalleryPlace.com as
outlined in the Terms of Use Agreement and haven't sold the images
anywhere else.
In order to maintain the originality and substance of the overall
vision, OneGalleryPlace.com requests artists to submit images that are
produced exclusively for each OGP Mission Statement, whether original
or derivative in form. To further your
chances of making it to the top, it is important that you understand
the scope of each mission and use your freshest and most forefront
imagination to produce original images that correspond to the tasks at
hand.
Q: Who retains Ownership of the images?
A: You will retain ownership
of the images you have submitted to OneGalleryPlace.com. However, when
uploading your images and agreeing to the Terms of Use Artist Agreement
you will thereby grant to OneGalleryPlace.com the exclusive licensing
rights to sell and utilize submitted images as OneGalleryPlace.com deems
necessary. It is our utmost
intention to maximize the use of all our strategically-developed
components for the benefit of everyone
involved, and in order to do so we will need full reign to methodically
produce,
promote and implement our visions in order to secure maximum exposure
and revenue
generation for everyone involved. For
more information, please refer to the Terms and Use Artist Agreement.
Q: Can I forward my entries via electronic media such as DVD, CD, Flash Drives thru regular mail (or UPS, FedEx, etc.)?
A: Yes.
Entries may be submitted using either the online link found on the
OneGalleryPlace.com Mission Statement page, or they can be mailed to
our offices at OneGalleryPlace.com, 543-202 Via Fontana Drive,
Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. As outlined in the Terms and Use
Artist Agreement, we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or
misplaced images and/or items, so please make sure to appropriately
package your contents for shipping and keep master copies for your
records.
Q: What is "Abstract Captivism"?
A: Abstract
Captivism
is the artistic practice of disseminating worldwide cultures and
descriptive elements found within in order to harness the power of it's
overall, unique wholeness. This power, in turn, energetically
facilitates the eclectic development of a single connectable
audiovisual entity, wherein the connection is described as one that
perpetuates the spirit of a collective consciousness for the betterment
of peace, love, compassion, and all humanity.
Q: What is Bluevision?
A: Bluevision,
at
it's very core, was founded at the turn of the millennium upon the
ideology of creating an artistic audiovisual network that would harness
the power of art and technology for the
betterment of all humanity, and to inseminate crystal blue positive
energy throughout the world we live in today. As we progress in the
production of the
entire vision, additional modules will be introduced on a timed-release
strategy
that will provide for a mesmerizing, scintillating visual connection to
the spirit of humankind, while showcasing our underlying belief in the philosophy of the eminent force of all for
one, and one for all.
